Tragedy at H-Town Throw Down: 3 Killed, Including 2 Emergency Responders
A weekend motorsports event in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, turned to tragedy when three people, including two emergency responders, were killed in separate accidents at the “H-Town Throw Down”.
The incidents occurred during the event on November 1, 2025. According to McAlester Pittsburg County Emergency Management Director Leonard Baughman, two emergency responders died in a crash on Saturday. "Our hearts are broken for the families, friends, and fellow responders affected by this unimaginable loss," Baughman stated.
A third victim died the day before while preparing for the event. Officials have not released the names of any of the individuals involved out of respect for their families.
